Anyway, I shall greet u. sawadeekah! *waves* I. AM. FINALLY. HERE. WOO! It’s really amazing how I have always wanted to go Bangkok since 2001, and only now, 10 years later, I am setting foot on this amazing land. Amazing cos it’s a level 1 shopping paradise. HAHA.
OK after we got stuck in the plane for 3 freaking long hours, we took off and got caught in a turbulence. Then the malay airstewardesses came down the aisle and asked if we wanted anything and they were going to serve us non-halal food. Dots dok dots.
To make things worse, once we reached the airport, the airport-pickup ppl didn’t bother waiting for our 3-hour delayed flight so they took off and we had to go to the hotel via taxi which ended up to be 1/3 cheaper than the pickup we happened to have already paid for. HAHA. Complex. We reached the hotel around 1 plus?
EARLY MORNING woke up and went down for breakfast. ITS QUITE FUNKY cos our hotel has this halal kitchen so we could eat everything. Yum. But morning no mood to eat and a bit grumpy cos not enough sleep. =( then we walked around and we bought bedroom slippers cos our hotel didn’t provide us with any. Nyeh. But on hindsight, it was a good thing.. cos our bedroom slippers are pretty funky. HEHE.
THEN WE went to PLATINUM *cheers and fireworks* <3 this was where all the fun started. PLATINUM has ALL THE FUNKY CLOTHES omg. And we were just ogling at all the pretttyyyy clothes and trying hard not to buy out of impulse.
Clearly I failed. HAHA.
Abah and tim gave us some money to shop in Bangkok, and I’m pretty sure im only left with one-tenth of it HOHO. Scared to check. Shall live in denial.
OH AND platinum has a MUSOLLAH AMG. So does the Bangkok airport. WHICH REALLY QUESTIONS why Singapore, a ‘multi-racial SLASH religious’ society, can’t afford to have one. Oh and when we DO have musollahs at shopping centers, it ought to be a secret. But platinum FREAKING ADVERTISES it everywhere. Haha (Y)
