OH GOD I'M HAPPY TO BE FINALLY BACK IN SINGAPORE! esp after my teeny weeny episode back in hanoi!!! AHHA! I LOVE SINGAPORE AND THIS IS MY HOME FOREVER! chey patriotic or hwats!
but long story short... my passport was stolen/lost/misplaced (only God knows hahaa! like literally) AT HANOI! WOW!!! ok so there was this little commotion about me not being able to go home.. had to go to the police station where there was a doofus for a police officer. LIKE OMG I REALLY FELT LIKE HITTING HIM ON THE HEAD IF WERENT FOR THE GUN HE HAD I WOULD HAVE ALREADY DONE SO...HE WAS JUST FREAKING REPEATING WORDS LIKE 'CAK TAK CAK TAK' (WTH DOES THAT MEAN BTW!) and refused to write me a report OMG!!!! INEFFICIENT LIKE ANNOYING CRAZY! ok pms talking.
ok nvm. then after that we went to the singapore embassy which provided us the EASIEST procedure EVER to lose a passport. I LOVE SINGAPORE! so efficient! and just look at it! <3 my sister and i were singing national day songs upon arrival EHEHEHEHEH! SEMANGATS!!! we were only there for 3 hours. =D!
then we had to make our way to the ministry of immigration donoe what thing of VIETNAM in hanoi... and it looks like this.
jauh berbeza or whatttt!!! and they took FOREVER to process a STAMP on my DOI (document of identity) and insisted that that stamp can only be done by MONDAY (28th). OMGGGGG!! AND WHAT WAS I TO DO IN HANOI FOR 5 DAYS! chicken shit! but in the end they settled for FRiday.. which is one day after our original departure date. DOTS!
so we had to go to SQ headquarters and change our flight tickets... and then they said friday's flight to singapore was MEGA FULL! like waiting list is the longest ever ever! and the next flight back was MONDAY! IKR! it's like all hell broke lose on us! but in the end we got the seats back on friday! EHHE
on a lighter note, we went shopping on the extra dayyy at hanoi and it was fun BUT HOT... like 44 deg HOT. then back at the hotel abah was controlling the laptop AND the teevee. nyeh. but heck, i troubled him so much *guilty guilty*. so i ordered room service to assuage the guilt a little... k. how does that work again..
