Beckham explains why he was sick

England captain David Beckham will be hoping to feel a bit perkier when his team take on Portugal in their quarter-final clash on Saturday.

The midfielder was sick on the pitch after scoring England's winner in their second round tie against Ecuador.

"I didn't feel well before the game, but I thought I would be fine," he said. "But the sickness continued in the second half and it just came out."

Becks was substituted in the final minutes of the game on Sunday.



In the countdown to the match, there had been calls for Sven to drop him from the starting line-up.

But his 60th-minute wonder goal silenced many critics.



"I can handle my criticism and I'll prove them wrong," said Becks.

"It was a great feeling to get a goal and put us in the quarter-final."

DRAMA IS OVER! i donoe whether i should be happy or sad about it... hrm. drama perf was like a BOMB just now.. at night one esp. the afternoon one was "okaaaaaayyy lah.. not bad" as commented by msadik, haha! but the afternoon crowd was like nyeh. tak laugh. today has been such a random day... for me at least
early morning at
12am: I was waiting for the brazil match to start so me and meerie watched HOSTAGE.. again.. it's a funky show! as in not funky with funky stuff but funky with a lot of frickin' rich people and a lot of shooting! =D
3am: soccer started! woO! Japan scored first! then brazil. brazil. brazil. after 60th min meerie went off to sleep and i THOUGHT i saw a kelibat of a something. a cockroach. so i decided to sleep too =( as i dint wanna meet with the cockroach all on my own. it may win me. =)
445am: i feel asleep. *snores* *drools*
745am: kak nur woke me up. i was to meet ishak at 830. so i was goleking on my katil trying to make sense of things happening around me. and kak nur.. having woken me up already went straight to the toilet and started cleaning it. i was like WADDDD?! ok. so wad do u do when u wake up early in the morning? u dont bath! u.. do smth else. wait for somebody to finsh washing the frickin toilet. hrmmm. so i only got into the toilet at 8.05am thereabouts.
830am: i reached kembangan
840am: i reached kallang
8.45am: me and ishak took 26 to the geylang distripark area
8.55am: reach busstop.
9.00am: walked. journey shouldnt take more than 5 minutes.
9.30am: still walking. we were at a bangla's headquarters. where the heck is blk 6 geylang bahru, kallang distripark?!!!!
9.55am: YAY KALLANG DISTRIPARK! walked in.
10.00am: got chased by a dog.
10.10am: back to busstop
10.40: back in school.
10.45: me and ishak cut tickets using a papercutter!
12.00: me and ishak arranged 250 messy tickets using our hands!
12.30: we had full dress rehearsal
2++: rehearsal ended. gaps was happy.
5++: i went to spotlight and i was taken aback by the price of organza. cheapest is 8bucks per/m. cheap!!!!! -_- decided not to buy.
5.30pm went to bugis.. arab street. organza bought: 2.50bucks/m. hoho! and it's of better quality lagi! tskk!
5.55pm: was at aljunied. man beside me received a call.. "HARLO? AT ACHUNI!" HHAHAHAHAHA achuni.. tsktsk!
